Over the last several years, more drivers in the U.S. and abroad have been turning to the Buick brand for the experience of full-scale luxury at a more accessible price. Indeed, the new Buick lineup features contemporary favorites like the Buick Enclave and Buick Verano. This GM luxury brand is now taking it to the next level with the introduction of a new high-end sub-brand that will go by the name “Avenir.” Find out more about this exclusive new take on a trusted tradition of quality, luxury, and accessibility.

Origin of the Avenir

The Avenir gets its name a Buick concept sedan from the 2015 model year. Named after the French word for “future,” the Avenir sub-brand is an appropriate name for a new strain of Buick models designed and built by a team that is looking out over the horizon in front of them. The new Avenir lineup will borrow elements from the Avenir concept, and it will also integrate a unique grille pattern and other styling elements from the Buick Avista coupe concept car.

Avenir Design

The Avenir will feature a three-dimensional mesh grille, imposing wheels, high-quality trim accents, and sculpted sheet metal from front to back. The cabin will project luxury and class while delivering the utmost levels of comfort in a luxury car.

Expanding Buick’s Customer Base

Throughout the last several model years, Buick has been working hard to expand its appeal, and during that time it has seen great success among female drivers who are looking for exclusive levels of luxury for less. With the introduction of the Avenir lineup, Buick looks to expand its appeal even further, both in North America and overseas.
