Every oil change service includes...

• Checking fluid levels (brake, power steering, transmission, differential (RWD, AWD, or 4x4) and transfer case (4x4 or AWD) and top up fluids as needed
• Check and set tire pressure
• Replace with GM oil  filter
• Lube chassis/suspension/steering components
• Drain the oil and replace it with up to 5 liters of General Motors oil
• 30 point inspection including the following safety items: tires, windshield wipers, drive belt(s), battery (cables and clamps), hoses, lights and indicators and air filter

• Lubricates all moving parts reducing metal to metal wear
• Keeps metal surfaces clean by removing the products created in combustion
• Provides corrosion protection to combat the effects of condensation and contaminants produced during combustion
  

Engine Oil Life System

Regular oil changes are essential to maintain your vehicle's health and GM warranty.  Most GM vehicles are now equipped with the Engine Oil Life System which actually senses your vehicle's speed and engine temperature, and can continuously monitor operating conditions. This helps determine when it's time to change the oil.

This system can actually monitor your personal driving habits and your area's climate condition to let you know precisely when to come in for an oil change. When the oil life system light comes on, you come in. It's that simple. It'll will save you money and help reduce oil waste.

NOTES:

• Due to Alberta/Saskatchewan's extreme climate and excessive dust, it is recommended to change your oil at 20% oil life remaining.
• In case your oil life monitor is ever accidentally reset, our quick-lube staff will provide a kilometer reminder of 5,000km on your oil change sticker.  Your owner manual indicates that "vehicles used under severe commercial operating conditions require lubrication on a regular basis every 5,000kms or at least once a year". 
  

Resetting Your Oil Life System

Our advisers will reset your Oil Life System after an oil change. If you would like to reset the system yourself, you may check your Owner's Manual or follow these simple steps...

1.  Turn the ignition key to the "on" position without actually starting your vehicle; and,

2.  Press your gas pedal to the floor three times simultaneously.  At this point, the "0% Oil Life Remaining" message in your dash should flash and reset itself to 100%
