The items covered and checked in the semiannual maintenance program were designed by General Motors to help extend the life of your vehicle and to avoid repairs. The following excerpts from the current General Motors new vehicle warranty manual clearly state customer obligations regarding regular maintenance service:

  • “Repairs required due to damage resulting from lack of maintenance are not covered under your warranty.”
  • “Damage caused by failure to follow the recommended Maintenance Schedule intervals and/or failure to use or maintain fluids, fuel, lubricants, or refrigerants recommended in the Owner’s Manual is not covered.”
  • “GM may deny a warranty claim if the failure to perform schedule maintenance resulted in the failure of a warranted part.”
If your vehicle requires warranty repairs, we’ll provide alternate transportation and/or reimbursement of your transportation expenses. This offer is good during the auto warranty coverage period only.
Even though our Service Department has two technicians dedicated to Goodwrench Services; we ask customers to be prepared to leave their vehicle for at least half a day to ensure our technicians have adequate time to complete the inspection.
