Any manufacturer’s defect “bumper to bumper”
- GMC: 3 years or 60,000km*
- Buick: 3 years or 60,000km*
Powertrain Warranty
Any manufacturer’s defect on items that make the vehicles move (engine, transmission, transfer case, differentials)
- GMC: 5 years or 100,000km*
- Buick: 5 years or 100,000km*
One major difference between our warranty and the competition’s warranty is rental coverage. A rental vehicle may be provided when an eligible vehicle is unavailable due to the vehicle being deemed unsafe or the vehicle is required to stay at the dealership over night to complete required repairs.
Accessories
Service Agent Installed
All new or remanufactured GM parts and accessories installed by a Service Agent during the New Vehicle Limited are covered, parts and labour, for any remaining unused portion of the New Vehicle Limited or 12 months/20,000 km.*
Roadside Assistance
General Motors is proud to offer the response, security, and convenience of the 24-hour Roadside Assistance program for a period of 5 years or 100,000 kms. for Chevrolet/GMC or 6 years or 110,000 kms. for Buick/Cadillac, whichever comes first.
Towing
During the warranty period, towing is covered to the nearest General Motors Dealer servicing Service Agent if your vehicle cannot be driven because of a warranted specific defect
How It Works
A customer has a concern while under their New Vehicle or Powertrain Warranty, they bring the concern and vehicle to our attention, we confirm (diagnose) the fault/concern is currently present and falls within their warranty coverage. At that point we repair the vehicle at no charge to the customer. It could not be easier!
